White Sands & Blue Waters

I've fallen in love with the Bahamas. It's the crystal clear water that shines bright blue and the miles of white powder sand beaches, the easy going people and the fantastic fishing. I will one day have my sport fishing boat and be able to take trips to catch the fish of the seas around the family islands and be able to stretch out and bathe myself in the warmth that is so typical of the Bahamas instead of trying to find a slip in Florida on a port without a name.

The lush green vegetation of the southern islands looks as stunning from on the water as it does if you fly over the top of it. The unspoiled areas of endless coastline which are still a home for the native Bahamians as well as having an un-written invitation to anyone who cares to come along. If you decide to take a trip to the islands then be sure that you take a trip to look at the most impressive blue hole anywhere on this planet. Dive into the water and swim with the fish, snorkel across the top of the sparkling water and marvel at the wonderful colours that make up the forna and flora that blend into the depths of the ocean. The ports of entry onto the cays are easily found so, by george you should come and see it for yourself.

Take a long walk on an empty icing sugar sand beach... empty all but for the many colourful crabs that share this wonderful paradise that is a heaven here on earth. Take my advice and treat yourself to a stroll in fantasy land, even if it's only for a short time and you know you have to return back to the "real" world. Your return will be lightened by the dreams that you have about the azure ocean and your night times of rum punch looking over the coral reefs and day times of swimming with brightly coloured fish....
